OEB launches Phase II of Streamlining Transmission Connections review

The OEB has issued a letter launching Phase II of the Streamlining Transmission Connections (STC) Review.

The Phase II STC Working Group will support implementation of the transmission-related proposals set out in the OEB’s report to the Minister of Energy and Mines, Streamlining Ontario’s Electricity Connection Framework: Enabling Growth and Meeting Customer Expectations. This phase will focus on:

• formalizing a comprehensive and streamlined transmission connection process
• establishing performance standards along with public reporting requirements for transmitters
