Proposed TSC Amendments to Enable Connection of Energy Storage

The OEB gave notice on January 27, 2025, of proposed amendments to the Transmission System Code (TSC) to facilitate the connection of energy storage to a transmitter’s system. These amendments, which result from the OEB’s Transmission Connections Review, will improve the effectiveness of connection processes, procedures, and requirements by ensuring that the regulatory rules in the TSC recognize and enable energy storage facility connections.

The OEB invites comments from any interested stakeholder on the proposed amendments. Anyone interested in providing written comments is invited to submit them by February 17, 2025. Your written comments must be received by the Registrar by 4:45 p.m. on that date.
