Final Updates to Non-Wires Solutions Guidelines

The OEB has released final updates to the Non Wires Solutions Guidelines, including a new appendix providing guidance on Stream 2 local electricity demand side management (eDSM) programs, taking into account comments received through this consultation. Distributors may now use the final guidelines to develop Stream 2 proposals and file funding requests with the OEB, including as part of annual rate adjustment applications beginning with 2027 rates.
