What We Heard: A Report Back on Stakeholder Input at Policy Day 2024 reflects the feedback of nearly 200 attendees at Policy Day, including representatives of distributors, transmitters, generators, technology innovators, industry associations, government, frequent intervenors, consumer groups and Indigenous communities, among others. Our discussions benefited tremendously from the broad range of perspectives in attendance, giving the OEB a fuller picture of the needs and priorities to consider in developing its business plan for 2025-2028.

Policy Day 2024 enabled a collaborative exchange of ideas on a range of topics from a rate-setting framework for the future, grid modernization, future utility models and advancing adjudicative priorities to youth engagement and building our energy sector workforce. Matters of flexibility and adaptability, incentives and outcomes, regulatory efficiency and ongoing modernization, and equity and inclusion were common themes across all the discussions.
