Report Published

The OEB has published its report to the minister, entitled, “Improving Distribution Sector Resilience, Responsiveness and Cost Efficiency.” The report was prepared in response to the Minister of Energy’s Letter of Direction (October 2022) and submitted to the minister in June 2023. With input from sector stakeholders, the report outlines advice and proposals which reflect on current and anticipated future extreme weather impacts, best practices in climate change resilience, and options to enhance organizational capacity through efficiency measures.

The OEB will engage stakeholders on its plans and approaches to the development and implementation of the proposals identified in the 2023 Letter of Direction as a priority in the new year.
